Tired of the same old nightclubs?
Brett and Susie have been running the Soul Box since February
as the name might imply, is not just a venue for Soul
music. Friendly owners Brett and Susie have transformed
what once was a decrepit Laundromat into a
multi-purpose venue for theatre, music, performance
and private functions.
The Front entry to the venue at 252 Hindley St. The Soul Box is
licensed to hold 140, and has cabaret seating for over 80 people.Brett, a trained theatre actor from Adelaide, returned after a few years away and noticed the lack of good Fringe venues. Originally starting as just a music venue, the Soul Box has cleverly morphed into a popular nightspot for events, theme parties, cabaret, theatre, dance and bands (including jazz, funk and rock).

Within three weeks of opening the Soul Box was nominated in the top 4 best Adelaide Fringe venues. It has played host to over 50 Fringe shows this year and will be involved in the 2013 Feast Festival. The Soul Box has a great vibe and has really enlivened the west end of Hindley St
The Soul Box has its own range of signature cocktails- this one is called Mishka Moonlight. The most expensive cocktail is $16.
Don't forget you can hire this venue for your own birthday or function and the friendly staff can tailor your event to suit your needs. And it's not only a night-time venue, the Soul Box is also available for hire during the day.
The Soul Box has a comfy lounge area at the front, separated from the main stage and performance area at the rear.
So if you looking for a great night out, or a cool , funky Venue
for your next function or party,
Check out the Soul Box!
